If you are interested in participating in a new sport, the Springvale Pistol Club (SPC) invites you to visit the range on a Wednesday night. This will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with the facilities and gain additional information regarding the sport of pistol shooting, provisional licensing/licensing and membership details.
As a prospective (unlicensed) member you have the opportunity to receive 10 sessions of instruction using a Notice of Receiving Instruction (NoRI). Anytime during this process you are welcome to become a member of the SPC and apply for your initial (provisional) licence. The SPC also offers coaching and Handgun Safety Courses, as well as a friendly environment. Club members are happy to assist new members as they begin to learn the sport of pistol shooting. Visitors Fees: $20 per visit (includes non club members, participating in pistol shooting activities) Please note: a Person can use only 10 ‘NoRI’ submissions in their life time. Current legislation states that on completion of 10 sessions under ‘NoRI’, a person must become a member of a pistol club and obtain a Provisional Licence to continue their interest in pistol shooting.
